【摘要】:Useofthispracticewillmaximizethebenefitstobegainedfromatmospherictestingofmetallic-coatedsteel.Itwillalsoaidincomparingresultsfromonelocationtoanotherwheresimilartestshavebeenconducted.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedureforrecordingdataofatmosphericcorrosiontestsofmetallic-coatedsteelspecimens.Itsobjectiveistheassuranceof(1)completeidentificationofmaterialsbeforetesting,(2)objectivereportingofmaterialappearanceduringvisualinspections,and(3)adequatephotographic,micrographic,andchemicallaboratoryexaminationsatspecificstagesofdeterioration,andattheendofthetests.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
